![]() ![]() Has a bit more output and gets cool feedback easily. I stumbled upon the closest thing to classic VH by accident when I bought the Striped Series. Though it isn't louder than other EVH pickups, I have to back off the gain on the amp. I have the signed relic'd Franky pickup in an WD ash bodied Strat that has a PV Wolfgang Floyd. ![]() To me, the Wolfgang pickup sounds different in my USA Stealth than it does in my w/b Stripe Series. A EVH dealer said it might have slipped through and maybe shouldn't have shipped. Oh, and the toggle switch cut out from day one. No one had them and I was told might ship in a month. And yes, the serial number started with EVH13, so that's apparently what they're stamping now. Reminded me of my old Charvel San Dimas that I unfortunately sold a while back (smacks forehead again). Nice action, gorgeous unfinished neck, all around solid axe. Played a B/W one today at the Las Vegas Guitar Center (my local one never has any in stock) and I was impressed. ![]()
